“Introverts, in contrast, may have strong social skills and enjoy parties and business meetings, but after a while wish they were home in their pajamas. They prefer to devote their social energies to close friends, colleagues, and family. They listen more than they talk, think before they speak, and often feel as if they express themselves better in writing than in conversation. They tend to dislike conflict. Many have a horror of small talk, but enjoy deep discussions.” — Susan Cain, Quiet  (via expresstophresh)

Your consent

[PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE THE REST :This is going to be a grim poem, but bear with me, it’s grim to make a point. I don’t like writing sad stuff without a purpose, and I hope that purpose will be clear. And, as always, I’m not completely satisfied with this]

Your screams are selfish,

Since you provoked the pain.

Your pink-rimmed dress is criminal,

So I’ll sentence you, you slut.

My pleasure is your punishment,

As you pay the primal price.

When I take the pink-rimmed fairy dress

And throw it in your blood-

Remember this day, my child,

When your clothes were your consent.

[As I’ve said, I only want to make a point- that if, or a child, their clothes don’t affect the seriousness of paedophilia, then why should it for an adult?]

I don't care if this poem's rubbish, it was therapeutic. -

mandamuffle:

:( good, but sad:(

Thanks:) I tried to add a bit of optimism at the end, so I didn’t sound like I had problems, since I am actually ok:)
